Cartel was founded by Director Gerard Lambkin. One of only a handful of directors to be awarded full accreditation as a cinematographer by the Australia Cinematographers Society, Gerard’s unique skill set combines an eye for inspirational visuals with a natural talent for storytelling.
His assured but light touch and complete dedication to his craft make him a delight to work with and an extremely versatile filmmaker.
Gerard’s work has been recognised internationally at many festivals including the New York Festivals Awards, Mobius Awards and ACS Awards, and his everyday-epic short film Great Adventures won Best in Show and Best Narrative at The One Show’s One Screen Festival.
We recognise the First Peoples of this Nation and their ongoing cultural and spiritual connections to the lands, waters, seas, skies, and communities.
